The STI large PCR panel is designed for multiplex in vitro assessment of 9 various bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms that are typically associated with transmission by sexual activity, using nucleic acid amplification. Following nucleic acid extraction, the targets are amplified by real-time PCR (qPCR) and detected via fluorescent dye. Positive controls included. Amplification reagents included.
